Sam-Taegeuk · degree-n Blaschke weave
The Korean Sam-Taegeuk stands for Heaven, Earth and Humanity turning as one. Here it is not drawn but computed: thousands of perfectly straight chords of a circle are passed through a Blaschke map, a transformation that slides the disk onto itself without ever leaving it. Because the map wraps the rim n times, the straight lines bend into n interlocking arms. The very same all-pass maps keep the loudness of a filter untouched while shifting only its phase.
